Description
The concourse of Joliet Union Station in Joliet, Illinois no loonger serves passengers, but it provides visitors a glimpse into a bygone era. This station, elaborately built from marble, once served passenger trains of the Santa Fe, Gulf, Mobile and Ohio, and Rock Island Railways. The famed Super Chief stopped here daily. Today, the station serves as a wedding and banquet hall.
