Description
The Tahquamenon Falls are two different sets of waterfalls located on the Tahquamenon River in the eastern portion of Michigan's upper peninsula. This photograph depicts the upper falls, which are the larger of the two. The falls, and the surrounding Tahqaumenon State Park, are a major attraction in this area of Michigan. The Tahquamenon River is known for its distinctive brown hue, which is evident in this photo.
